easyemployer old roster interface is being removed. We will discontinue support on the October 15, 2017, and you will no longer be able to use the "old roster" interface beginning November 1, 2017.
If you are currently using the old roster interface you need to read the support ticket sent to you and raise any questions you may have prior to November 1, 2017.
What does this mean for "old roster" users?
Between the announcement and removal dates, easyemployer will not make updates to the old roster interface or correct bug fixes.
At the removal date, if your account is configured to open with the old roster interface by default, this will be changed to open the new roster interface by default.
Why is easyemployer removing this?
The removal of the old roster interface is three fold:
- The new roster interface (now referred to as the roster interface) provides all the function that the old roster interface provided - and much more function.
- For us to progress with the new roster interface and develop/support new and exciting features (including further performance improvements) we specifically need to be supporting one iteration of a core function of the software for all of our clients.
- The old roster interface is built on a very old technical foundation, and no future improvements can be made.
Am I affected?
If you have received an email from us your account has been identified as having the old roster interface opening by default. You can also identify the different roster interfaces via the example images below:

What do I need to do?
If you would like to permanently opt into the new roster interface before the removal date, you can simply reply to the email sent to you requesting to permanently opt in early.
If you would like to preview the new roster interface before the removal date, or before you opt in permanently before the removal date, you can switch to the new roster interface by clicking the star button.
What happens if I do not opt in early or do not reply to the email sent to me?
At the removal date, if you are still using the old roster interface, your use of the old roster interface will be blocked and you will be automatically directed to the new roster interface.
- There will be no exceptions.
