Infrastructure Upgrade – Aligning with the AWS Well-Architected Framework
We’re making a significant infrastructure upgrade to the Easy Employer production platform to ensure improved performance, stability, scalability, and long-term reliability. As part of this upgrade, we will be aligning our systems with the AWS Well-Architected Framework, a set of best practices developed by Amazon Web Services for building secure, high-performing, resilient, and efficient cloud infrastructure.
📅 When is this happening?
- Start: Tuesday, 24 June 2025 at 10:00 PM AEST
- Duration: Approximately 8 hours
- Expected completion: Wednesday, 25 June 2025 at 6:00 AM AEST
🔧 What will be affected?
During the maintenance window:
- The Easy Employer website will not be accessible
- The current standard production URL is https://secure.easyemployer.com/ but some organisations may use a custom domain (e.g. https://yourorganisation.easyemployer.com)
- The Easy Employer mobile app will not function
- Time clocks will operate in offline mode and sync data once the system is back online
- API requests will fail, so any integrations relying on the API should be paused during this time
We recommend notifying relevant teams and integration partners in advance.

✅ What you need to do after the upgrade
Once the upgrade is complete and the platform is back online, we recommend the following actions to ensure a smooth transition:
- Verify access to the system using your standard login method
- Enable your integration and test any key workflows that are critical to your organisation
- Retry any integration events that occurred during the downtime
- Report any issues to the Easy Employer support team as soon as possible so we can assist promptly
If your organisation was previously contacted about API changes or URL adjustments, please ensure those changes have been applied.
📉 What to expect after the maintenance window
Once the platform comes back online, you may experience slightly reduced performance for a short period of time. This is expected while our caching systems warm up and background optimisation processes complete.
There is no action required from users — the system will automatically stabilise and performance will return to normal levels shortly after the maintenance ends.
We will monitor the environment closely throughout this period and provide updates if necessary.
