Reconnecting MYOB AccountRight, Xero or CloudPayroll After Infrastructure Upgrade - Now Resolved

Overview

Following a recent infrastructure upgrade, authentication issues temporarily impacted the connections to MYOB AccountRight, Xero, and CloudPayroll. This caused disruptions when importing users, entitlement balances, and running pay exports.

Current Status

TIP: The issue has now been resolved. Connections to MYOB AccountRight, Xero, and CloudPayroll should now function normally.

If you're still encountering an issue when attempting to connect or perform integration actions, follow the steps below.

What to do if you still see an error

  1. Perform the reconnection steps below
  2. If this does not work, take a full-page screenshot showing the page you are receiving the error on.
  3. Log a support ticket with Easy Employer. Submit a request – easyemployer support
  4. Attach the screenshot and include any steps you took leading up to the error.

This will help our team investigate and assist you as quickly as possible.

Reconnection steps

To reconnect your payroll application in Easy Employer:

NOTE: If you are using CloudPayroll, you must ensure you are logged out of CloudPayroll before performing the connection. 

When entering your CloudPayroll login details after clicking Connect in Easy Employer, you need to use the CloudPayroll API user that was supplied by CloudPayroll for the company you are connecting. 

If you're unsure of these credentials, please speak directly with CloudPayroll support.
  1. Within Easy Employer, click Organisation.
  2. Click Organisation Structure.
  3. Click the relevant Payroll Entity.
  4. Click Settings.
  5. Scroll to the bottom of the page to the Payroll Apps section.
  6. Click Disconnect on the relevant integration.
  7. Click Connect and follow the prompts to re-establish the connection.
