Contents

Overview

Following the release of v3.58.0.1, an issue has been identified where rule inheritance is not functioning correctly. This impacts how roster warnings and suitability results are calculated, as the system may not be referencing the correct rule sources.

Current Status

TIP: A fix has been developed and is currently undergoing internal testing. Updates will be provided as soon as the fix is released.

What is Affected

This issue may result in the following:

  • Roster warnings not appearing when they should
  • Roster warnings appearing when they are not applicable
  • Incorrect roster suitability outcomes being shown

This is due to the system failing to inherit rules from their intended parent objects (e.g. organisation, group, award, role levels based on the hierarchy).

Troubleshooting & Actions

If you are experiencing unusual or incorrect warnings or suitability messages in the roster, please contact support with examples if you notice unexpected behaviour so this can be tested to ensure it is working correctly with this fix.

NOTE: This issue only affects rule inheritance logic introduced in v3.58.0.1 and does not impact the ability to create or view rosters, put things like publishing may be blocked if the publishing blocking warning is using the wrong rule value.
