Employee Guide | Using the Time Clock Software

1) Starting a Shift
      i) Using Pin Authentication

It is important to note that your organisation/employer can use one of many "installation types" for the easyemployer time clock software. E.g. this could be a 'DIY' installation where you use a mouse to make selections (and may/may not have a fingerprint reader) or could be an easyemployer All In One Kiosk (with touch screen and integrated fingerprint reader).

It is important to note that your organisation/employer can use one of many configurations for the easyemployer time clock software authentication methods. The usage/permission/restriction to one (or many) authentication methods is your organisation/employers policy.

 

1) Starting a Shift.

1. To start a shift, click/tap on your name.

i) Using Pin Authentication.

If you are using pin authentication, you will then enter your pin which has been previously set. If you need to set your pin you can follow this guide.

ii) Using Fingerprint Authentication.

If you are using fingerprint authentication, ensure you are using the correct scanning technique.

2. Click/tap 'Start shift' to start your shift.

2) Taking a Break.

1. To start a shift, click/tap on your name.

Example:

 2. Authenticate either using your pin number or fingerprint.

3. Click/tap on 'Start break'.

 4. Click/tap on the break type.

3) Ending a Break.

1. Click/tap on your name.

2. Authenticate either using your pin number or fingerprint.

3. Click/tap on 'End break'.

4) Ending a Shift.

1. Click/tap on your name.

2. Authenticate either using your pin number or fingerprint.

3. Click on 'End shift'.

Note: After you make your selection, always click/tap log out to exit your account.
