2. Ensure all power and network cables are correctly plugged into your workplace box

Go to your workplace box and:

  1. Ensure one end of the network cable is plugged into your network switch
  2. Ensure the other end of the network cable is plugged into the back of your workplace box (see area circled 1. in image A below)
  3. Ensure the power pack is plugged into a power point
  4. Ensure the power cable is plugged into the back of your workplace box (see area circled 2. in image A below)
  5. Ensure the power  light on the front of the workplace box is on (see image B below), if not press the power button (note - the power button sometimes doubles as the power button)

Once this is done correctly a light should appear near the network cable plug on the back of the workplace box (see area circled 1. in image A below).

If no light is present please double check that all cables are plugged into both the workplace box, your network switch and your power point as per the points above.

If both the power and network lights are showing and after a few minutes your clocking application still shows an error message saying that it "cannot connect to server" please proceed to step 2. Otherwise please contact our support team on support@easyemployer.com or 1300 855 642.

  4. Plug other end of the network cable into your workplace box (see area circled 1. in image A below)
  5. Plug the power pack into a power point
  6. Plug the power cable is plugged into your workplace box (see area circled 2. in image A below)

If this is done correctly a light should appear near the network cable plug on the back of the workplace box (see area circled 1. in image A below) and on the front of the workplace box  the power light will be on (see image B below).

If no light is present please double check that all cables are plugged into both the workplace box, your network switch and your power point as per the points above.
