What is a Roster Template
The roster template allows you to define your business roster requirements for a week or fortnight (depending on your roster period). It is designed to help users of easyemployer save time when rostering common shifts.
Why would I use a Roster Template
The Roster Template can be used to create your roster every week / fortnight. You can create as many templates as you like and for different durations.
How to Create a Roster Template
1. Click the 'Rosters' tab at the top of the screen
2. Click on 'Create Roster Template'
3. Next to ‘Duration’ select the duration using the drop down list for the number of days you would like the template for (e.g. a weekly template would be 7 days)
4. Next to ‘Roster Template Name’ choose a name for this template
5. Create from:
- You can create a roster template based on another roster template, an existing roster or blank
6. Click 'Create'
7. The template will be created based on your selection above
8. You can now add shifts to your roster template.
Editing a Roster Template
1. Click the 'Rosters' tab at the top of the screen
2. Click on 'Open a Roster Template'
3. Click the template you would like to edit
4. Make any necessary changes to your roster template
Renaming a Roster Template
1. Click the 'Rosters' tab at the top of the screen
2. Click on 'Open a Roster Template'
3. Click 'rename' under 'Actions' next to the template you would like to rename
4. Enter a new name and click 'Ok.'
Deleting a Roster Template
1. Click the 'Rosters' tab at the top of the screen
2. Click on 'Open a Roster Template'
3. Click 'delete' under 'Actions' next to the template you would like to delete.
