1) Overview
The Easy Employer entitlement standard file import is a csv file which can be used to import / update entitlements for users.
In the event that we do not currently have an import for your specific payroll application then the data will need to be entered into the Easy Employer standard format (see your corresponding payroll applications guides).
2) Download the standard format file
The first step is to download the Easy Employer Standard Format file from EE. This allows you to have an accurate template of the information the system requires to complete the import.
Follow these steps to download an example of the file:
3) Enter the data into the file
Once you have obtained the file, use your preferred spreadsheet editor (e.g., Microsoft Excel) to enter the required data into it, by either copying and pasting from another document (e.g. a contact list) or entering it manually.
It is very important not to alter the headings of each column in any way, as these are used to match the corresponding fields in EE (refer to the the guide in the RELATED ARTICLES section for the import file specifications).
