Time Clock | Enrolling & Re-Enrolling a User's Fingerprint

1) How to enrol a users fingerprint.

1. Log in as a user with the permissions to enrol a user for the site(s) configured for the timeclock.

2. Click/tap the "Administration" button.

5. Click/tap the "Enrol User" button.

6. Highlight the user you wish to enrol, by clicking/tapping their name.

7. With the user highlighted, click/tap "Select User".

8. Have the staff member scan their finger 4 times as instructed on the screen.

9. Successful scans will render the image temporarily. This is to show feedback to the enrolling user they are scanning correctly.

10. After 4x successful fingerprint scans, the fingerprint has now been enrolled.

 

 

2) How to re-enrol a users fingerprint.

1. Log in as a user with the permissions to enrol a user for the site(s) configured for the timeclock.

2. Click/tap the "Administration" button.

5. Click/tap the "Enrol User" button.

6. Un-check the box next to "Only show users with no fingerprint enrolled". All eligible users for fingerprint enrolment/re-enrolment will now be displayed in the list.

7. Highlight the user you wish to enrol, by clicking/tapping their name.

8. With the user highlighted, click/tap "Select User".

11. After 4x successful fingerprint scans, the fingerprint has now been enrolled.

NOTE: easyemployer fingerprint scanners require whole fingerprint scans for authentication. This is vastly different to biometric sensors of modern smartphones which only need partial scans to authenticate. Please bear this in mind when enrolling/re-enrolling/using easyemployer biometric scanners.
