Payroll Guru - add / edit rates of pay and allowances for an employee

How to delete a rate of pay and/or allowances for an employee

  1. Open Payroll Guru
  2. Click Employees
  3. Click List Employees
  4. Click the relevant employees name
  5. Click on Edit next to Rate of pay and allowances
  6. The employees Current Pay Rates & Allowances are shown at the top of the screen
  7. Click Delete next to the rate type you want to delete

How to add a rate of pay and/or allowances for an employee

  1. Open Payroll Guru
  2. Click Employees
  3. Click List Employees
  4. Click the relevant employees name
  5. Click on Edit next to Rate of pay and allowances
  6. Down the bottom of the screen, there are two sections under Add New Pay Rate or Allowance, add a new pay rate, and add a new allowance
  7. Under Rate type or Allowance type select the type, add the amount and enter a comment if applicable
  8. Click Add pay rate or Add allowance
  9. Click Finished editing pay rates when completed.
