"The Prime Minister has declared that Thursday 22 September 2022 will be a public holiday for a National Day of Mourning for Her Majesty The Queen.
Once the public holiday for the National Day of Mourning for Her Majesty The Queen is confirmed in each state or territory, normal public holiday rules and entitlements apply."
NOTE: EE (Easy Employer) recommends you follow advice from FairWork and/or your state or territory government body, with respects to the 'observance' of the "National Day of Mourning for Her Majesty The Queen".
2) Add & configure a public holiday in Easy Employer
It is the responsibility of the EE account holder to ensure that all public holidays are configured correctly in EE as per the business requirements. This includes but is not limited to regional/territorial public holidays, part-day public holidays and any changes to public holidays.
NOTE: Setting up a public holiday is a two step process:
1. Add the public holiday to the Easy Employer account.
2. Configure the public holiday to be observed by the site/s.
For full information & instructions for how to add a public holiday to an EE account, and then configure the public holiday to be 'observed' by your "site" (in your organisation structure) please refer to the guide on the RELATED ARTICLES section.
