User group IDs optimisation All

This update improves how user group IDs are looked up and handled.
This optimisation significantly enhances performance and eliminates deadlocks that could occur during bulk updates.

Example actions that are improved:

  • Leave: Create, Edit, and Edit Leave End

  • Timesheet Report generation

  • Adding a user to a group

  • Deactivating a user

  • Terminating a user

  • Deleting a user group

  • Deleting a group (role)

  • Changing a user’s home role

  • Viewing user roles

  • More reliable bulk update handling without deadlocks

  • Improved overall stability

User ability history API

Updates to user abilities were previously not recorded in a user’s history, making it difficult to track changes made by external systems.

This information is now available in the History tab of each user, allowing you to easily review all updates to user abilities, including those made by integrations or other external sources.

NOTE: this will only apply to updates made after the release date and time, updates performed before this will not be seen.
