Time clock stops syncing Time clock

An issue was identified where, if a time clock was offline and users performed both shift clocking and task clocking (e.g. room) while offline, the following could occur:

  • Tasks were stored locally on the device.

  • Changes were then made to the associated shifts in the website while the device was still offline.

  • When the time clock came back online and attempted to sync, those locally stored tasks were no longer valid against the updated shifts.

  • This caused the time clock to become stuck and stop syncing further data.

Resolution:
Proper handling has now been added. If a conflict occurs due to offline tasks no longer being valid after website changes, the time clock will now process this gracefully and continue syncing normally, ensuring the device no longer gets stuck.
