This article explains how to install the Easy Employer app based time clock.

This process should be completed by a qualified IT technician.

NOTE: Ensure your environment meets the minimum system requirements. Refer to the Related Articles section for further information. The installer must be run with elevated privileges using a local Windows Administrator account.

Install the DigitalPersona drivers

You must run the installer as a Windows Administrator to complete this step.

NOTE: 64 bit Windows operating systems only.

The installation requires a computer restart. After restarting, proceed to the next step.

Install the .NET framework

Download the Microsoft .NET Framework version 4.7.1 or later from the official Microsoft website.

Run the installer as a Windows Administrator. A restart is required after installation.

Install the time clock application

Download the Easy Employer app based time clock installer from the installer download link.

  1. Run the installer from the Windows user account that will operate the time clock.
    • Ensure you are logged in as the everyday user of the device.
    • Confirm the username shown during installation matches the intended user.
    • The user does not require administrator permissions to run the time clock.

  2. When installation completes, the application settings screen appears. Leave the default settings unchanged.

Run the time clock

NOTE: The time clock URL must be generated from the Easy Employer web interface. Refer to the Related Articles section for instructions.
  1. The application opens and prompts for a time clock URL.
  2. Paste the URL into the field and select Submit.

  3. Enter the previously configured password.

  4. The time clock loads and the fingerprint scanner is ready for use.

Reinstall the time clock application

  1. Uninstall the Easy Employer Time Clock application via Windows.
  2. Open Windows Run using Windows key + R.
  3. Enter %AppData% and select OK.
  4. Delete the following folders if they exist:
    • easyemployer Timeclock
    • easyemployerTimeclock
  5. Reinstall the Easy Employer time clock application.
