This article explains how to make sure you receive Easy Employer email notifications and how to fix common delivery issues when using personal email providers such as Gmail, Outlook, and Apple iCloud Mail.
NOTE: If you use a work or corporate email address, your organisation’s IT or security filters may stop emails before they reach your inbox. If the steps in this article do not help, ask your manager to contact your IT team.

Overview
Easy Employer sends email notifications to let you know when important activity occurs. These may include:
- Rosters being published
- Leave requests being actioned
- System notices being received
- Online access invitations
If you are not seeing these emails, they may be going to Spam, Junk, or another folder.
Quick checks
- Check your Spam or Junk folder.
- Search your mailbox for easyemployer.
- Look for emails sent from:
- If found in Spam or Junk, mark the email as Not Spam or Not Junk.
Gmail steps
Move the email out of Spam
- Open Gmail.
- Go to the Spam folder.
- Open the Easy Employer email.
- Select Report not spam.
Add the sender to your contacts
- Open an Easy Employer email.
- Click the sender name.
- Select Add to Contacts.
- Add comms@easyemployer.net and comms+prod@easyemployer.net.
TIP: If you find Easy Employer emails in Gmail’s Promotions tab, drag one message into the Primary tab to improve future delivery.
Outlook steps
Move the email out of Junk Email
- Open Outlook.
- Go to the Junk Email folder.
- Open the Easy Employer email.
- Select Not junk.
Add Easy Employer to Safe Senders
- Open Outlook Settings.
- Select Mail, then Junk email.
- Add the following under Safe senders and domains:

Apple iCloud Mail steps
Follow these steps if you use an @icloud.com, @me.com, or @mac.com email address, or the Apple Mail app on iPhone, iPad, or Mac.
Move the email out of Junk
- Open the Apple Mail app or iCloud Mail.
- Open the Junk folder.
- Select the Easy Employer email.
- Choose Move to Inbox.
Add Easy Employer to your contacts
- Open an Easy Employer email.
- Tap or click the sender’s email address.
- Select Add to Contacts.
- Add comms@easyemployer.net and comms+prod@easyemployer.net.
TIP: On iPhone and iPad, also check Mail Notifications in your device settings to ensure alerts are enabled for the Mail app.
Other email providers
If you use another email provider (such as Yahoo or Proton Mail), the steps are similar:
- Check Spam or Junk folders.
- Mark Easy Employer emails as Not Spam.
- Add Easy Employer sender addresses to your contacts or safe sender list.
If you are still not receiving emails
If you have completed the steps above and are still not receiving notifications:
- Speak to your manager, as your organisation may have additional processes.
- If you use a work email address, ask your manager to raise this with your internal IT team.
