1) Overview
On call or incident shifts do not apply to all organisations. An employee that is required to be on call or respond to incidents must take a certain action or perform a certain task whenever it is required.
Your organisation might want you to record incidents or activities during a period of time you are on call or during a sleepover for example on your timesheet.
2) Add an on call or incident shift to your timesheet
- Access the (unfinalised) period by any of the following methods:
- Click My Easy Employer.
Click Timesheets.
This will open the My Timesheets page. Select the current (unfinalised) period. - OR, on the Quick Links section of the home page, click View my current timesheet.
- Click My Easy Employer.
- Your timesheet will be displayed.
- Click the white space under the shifts corresponding to the day.
The Create actual shift dialogue will be displayed.
- Select the role from the drop down (depending on your access, you might have access to one or more roles).
For example, 'On Call Active'. - Select the start time and end time.
- Add a shift message if required.
- Click Save.
- Select the role from the drop down (depending on your access, you might have access to one or more roles).
- The shift will now display on your timesheet.
