Export Leave to an Electronic Calendar

This article explains how to generate a calendar URL in Easy Employer (EE) to subscribe your leave to electronic calendars such as Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, and Microsoft Outlook.

Overview

An electronic calendar allows you to view appointments and contact lists digitally. Leave can be exported from Easy Employer to your calendar application.

Once subscribed, your calendar application will automatically pull updates from Easy Employer. This process only needs to be done once, not each time leave is published. It is useful for displaying leave digitally without printing updates.

Examples of electronic calendars include Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, and Microsoft Outlook, available for both computers and portable devices.

NOTE: The calendar application is responsible for "pulling new data" from Easy Employer. Some applications allow you to control the update interval or manually refresh to fetch new data.

Depending on your organisation's configuration, you may or may not have access to this feature. Contact your immediate leader if unsure.

Generate the electronic calendar URL

  1. Click My Easy Employer.
  2. Click Leave.
