Payroll - setting your payroll application

What is a payroll application

A payroll application is a software, tool or application that assists in managing payroll tasks. Payroll applications are configured for payroll entities in easyemployer. As such if you have different payroll entities or companies within your organisation, each can have a separate payroll application if required.

Why is this important

Changes made to an organisations' payroll application may necessitate a change to the payroll application currently set in easyemployer

How to set your payroll application in easyemployer

1. Select Organisation from the top navigation bar

2. Open the Organisation Structure


3. Locate the Payroll Entity. This will generally be one of the left-most entities or may have entity in the title.

4. If you are unable to determine the entity from this view, select the entity you believe is the payroll entity and navigate to the settings page. The entity type will be under "Group Type". Ensure that this is Payroll Entity.

5. On the right side of the screen under Payroll Entity Settingsedit the Payroll Application by clicking Edit

6. Select the application you use from the list

 

How to set the payroll application when creating the payroll entity

1. Select Organisation from the top navigation bar

2. Open the Organisation Structure


3. Create a new Top Level Group

4. Select your application from the drop-down menu, name your entity and press Create
