Overview
Once a roster has been published, your organisation may ask or require employees to confirm their allocated shifts based on company policy. Confirming roster shifts is a way to acknowledge that you have received your roster and can work the shifts assigned to you.
NOTE: Check with your leader or employer for your organisation’s policy on confirming shifts. Not confirming a published roster shift generally does not mean you are not required to work that shift. Confirm your obligations with your leader or employer.
Confirm your roster shifts
Via email (all shifts only)
- You may receive an email listing the shifts assigned to you in the upcoming roster.
- Reply y to the email to confirm all listed shifts.
Via SMS (all shifts only)
- You may receive an SMS listing your upcoming shifts.
- Reply y to the SMS to confirm all your shifts.
Via the mobile app (individual shifts)
Refer to the mobile app documentation for instructions on confirming roster shifts using the app:
Confirm your roster shifts through the online portal
Via the to-do list (all shifts only)
Your to-do list will show a task prompting you to confirm shifts.
- Click the to-do item to open the review page. You can only confirm all shifts as a bulk action from here.
- Click Confirm shifts to confirm all rostered shifts.
Via your roster (individual shifts)
- Click My Easy Employer.
- Click Rosters.
This opens the My rosters page, where you can open a future roster period to confirm shifts. - Click the Roster name to open that week's roster.
- Click an individual shift and then click the confirm button (tick) to confirm that shift.
Once confirmed, the shift background colour changes to green.
