This article explains how to use the Fill-in Finder feature in Easy Employer to find replacements for shifts.

Overview

The Fill-in Finder is a quick and easy way to find a replacement for a shift. This feature becomes available once the roster has been published.

Users are notified via SMS and/or email and can reply whether they are available or not.

Notify users of available shift(s)

Select users to notify

Shift notification options

Send notification

Confirmation of notification sent

Notification tracking

View notification status

Notification completed

Assigning a shift to user(s)

Selected users receive a message asking if they can work the shift. Their responses are returned in the system so you can see availability immediately.

There are two methods for assigning shifts:

Select employee for shift
