What is the shift management page
The shift management page is an additional method that can be used to review, change or add rostered shifts.
Why would you use the shift management page
Since the shift management page doesn't load the roster grid, it's capable of loading quicker than the regular roster page.
When would you use the shift management page
The shift management page would be used over the regular roster page in situations where it's not necessary for the grid view to be visible. For example, when making changes to a particular shift that you already know the details for.
How to use the shift management page
1. Select Rosters from the top navigation bar

2. Select Shift Management

3. The shift management page will load

4. The shift management page will automatically be on the current day's logs. To change this, select the preferred date(s) from the calendars in the top left hand corner of the report.

5. To search for a user, site, role, and so on, input what you are looking for in the search bar in the top right hand corner.

6. To add a shift, press the Create new shift button

The shift creation dialogue will appear

7. To refresh the page, use the Reload button in the top right hand corner.

8. To Export the logs, select either the Export to CSV or Export to XLS button

9. To sort how the shifts are grouped (user or role), select the preferred method by pressing on their corresponding button

10. To edit what groups are viewed, press the Edit button at the end of the Groups row.

The options available will then appear

11. To edit which shift statuses are viewed (open, published, etc.), press the Edit button at the end of the Statuses row.

12. To edit which users shifts are viewed, press the Edit button at the end of the Users row.

The options available will then appear
13. To sort the order in which communications are displayed, press on the arrows icon next to each heading.

14. To Manage, Confirm, Unassign or Delete an existing shift, hover over the shift's row and press on the Cog that will appear at the end. A drop-down menu will appear with the options available.
