1) Overview
The gender specific shift requirement feature allows a user's suitability to work a shift to be determined by their gender. Easy Employer has a feature to display a user's gender on the Roster shift management page. These features can be used independently or together if desired.
NOTE: For this feature to work correctly the gender of each user has to be set in their profile.
This feature is useful for cases when a gender requirement exists for a specific shift. For example, if there is a client that can only work with female employees, this can be set as a requirement. As a result all male employees will appear as unsuitable to work the shift.
2) Display users' genders on the roster shift management form
NOTE: The options that are displayed in the suitability ranker can be refined by following the steps in the guide on the RELATED ARTICLES section.
3) Set the gender specific shift requirement
NOTE: The gender specific requirement can also be set for Custom Entities (if these have been set up in the account). For more information about Custom Entities refer to the guide in the RELATED ARTICLES section.
